Optimum Gas Journal Bearing with Open Bearing Ends and Feeder Slot   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The optimum design of the cylindrical outer contours of a gas journal bearing is obtained using the methods of the calculus of variations with allowance for the lubricant leakage through the bearing ends and the feeder slot when the lubricant mass in the working gap is conserved. The variational problem of designing the clearance shape giving the maximum bearing load capacity is formulated and solved. A modified Elrod-Burgdorfer condition for the pressure is used.  相似文献

Boiling heat transfer measurements on a tube designed to yield the peripheral variation of heat transfer coefficient without interfering with the nucleation site density are presented. A variation of up to 25% around the tube is found with a maximum at the base. High speed cine photography was used to estimate the variation of mean bubble layer thickness and mean velocities with angle. An iterative heat balance around the periphery indicated a voidage decrease from about unity at the base to 0.3–0.6 at 90°  相似文献

Summary By means of a combined method it is demonstrated for regular perturbation problems how the higher order terms of an asymptotic expansion may be determined from numerical solutions of the non-expanded basic equations.The method is applied to heat transfer effects in a laminar boundary layer and to the analysis of its stability. All first- and second-order coefficients of the problem are determined from numerical solutions of the basic set of equations.  相似文献

A nonlinear regression scheme for determining heat transfer correlations from overall heat exchanger measurements is presented. The proposed scheme is valid for any two-fluid heat exchanger data where only one fluid's thermal resistance varies. The resulting regression model has three unknowns; two are associated with the variable resistance, and the third is the sum of all other resistances. The model can be analyzed only by using nonlinear regression because it cannot be transformed into linear form. Unlike existing approximate methods of analysis (known as modified Wilson plots), the proposed scheme is guaranteed to converge if a solution exists. The scheme was successfully tested by analyzing data collected on a tube-fin heat exchanger with continuous plain fins.  相似文献

A mass transfer measuring method based on absorption, chemical and coupled colour reaction is used to visualize and determine the shell side local heat transfer in the first baffle compartment of shell-and-tube heat exchangers with segmental baffles for staggered tube arrangement. Local mass transfer coefficients were transformed into heat transfer coefficients by using the analogy between heat and mass transfer. A radiation heat transfer analysis has been formulated for the space inside an internal combustion engine cylinder using the principles of the Hottel zone and transformational zone methods. The space analyzed has a variable length resulting from the piston movement. The analysis presented here is for radiation in piston-cylinder systems of known temperatures of radiation gas, and internal surfaces of cylinder, head, and piston. Radiative emissions of the radiation gas in the shape of rings were determined on the basis of Stasiek's principle of surface transformation. The results obtained demonstrate the present approach satisfactorily, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Moreover, the division of the analyzed volume into infinitely small elements along the axial direction has significantly simplified the calculations in comparison with the conventionally employed classical Hottel zone method.  相似文献

本文给出高超音速湍流分离不稳定特性的实验研究结果。试验条件是:自由流马赫数为 7.8,单位长度雷诺数为 3.5×10~7/米。分离流场由有限展长前向台阶产生,并用有高空间分辨率和快速响应的一列平齐安装的铂膜电阻温度计和多通道系统测量其表面热流率脉动。信号的条件采样分析结果表明:分离激波的根部由一束压缩波构成,流向展长约二分之一来流边界层厚度,在边界层外汇聚成单一主激波。这种激波结构极其不稳定,出现大尺度运动,流向运动的尺度约为分离激波上游影响区域长度的22%。激波振荡频率为一宽频带,主要集中在 1~3 千赫。在分离激波运动区域,热流脉动呈间歇性,在无扰动和激波扰动间跳跃。可以认为这种间歇性是分离激波系统大尺度振荡的结果。在激波运动区域的下游为分离区,流体继续压缩,热流脉动无间歇。  相似文献

The paper presents a solution to the problem of thermal conduction and thermoelasticity for a thin shallow spherical shell heated by a concentrated or local impulsive heat source moving over the shell surface. It is assumed that temperature is linearly distributed across the shell thickness and that the shell, on its sides, exchanges heat with the environment in accordance with Newton’s law of cooling. The Fourier and Laplace transforms are used to find an analytic solution. 混凝土基材锥体受拉破坏是后锚固锚栓受拉的基本破坏形式,采用混凝土破坏准则和弹性力学方法,推导了胀锚型锚栓基于混凝土基材破坏的抗拔极限承载力简化计算公式.通过对不同混凝土强度的极限状态数值分析,发现基材锚固破坏锥面底部直径R与有效锚固深度he为近似比值关系。与试验的对比结果表明,简化计算方法精度满足工程需要,和多种试验测试结果相当吻合。  相似文献
